Our old kitchen was ugly, small, broken and dilapidated. We hated cooking in it. Through family contacts we heard of the work of Gavin Hepper.

He consulted and collaborated with us at every stage of the project and kept us informed of costs and finishes throughout the design and building process. He worked with us to capture our needs and personalities in the finished product.

We now have exactly what we want and our kitchen is a delight to cook in and as I was the non-cook in the family before the renovation, I now love to cook.

When the kitchen was first finished we had friends come and see it and one friend, a professional property developer said that this was the most beautiful kitchen that he had ever seen with many similar comments from our other friends and family.

The kitchen with it's island bench has so many functions and has become a place for us to congregate, for our friends to be entertained and for all of us to cook together and eat it has become the centre of our home and our parties.

The absolute success of this project and subsequent design award is testimony to Gavin's sensitivity in blending our needs with his design experience and knowledge.
